Nylon 11 offers exceptionally low water absorption, at around 2.5% when saturated, resulting in excellent dimensional stability. It is a versatile performer that excels in extreme weather conditions. In wet environments, Nylon 11 outperforms Nylon 6 and 6/6 in terms of performance, thanks to its higher strength and superior heat resistance compared to Nylon 12. Moreover, it exhibits impressive impact resistance even at sub-zero temperatures and can withstand high pressures. With outstanding chemical resistance and excellent abrasion resistance, Nylon 11 is remarkably robust. Additionally, it has a low coefficient of friction. While its UV resistance is reasonable, it compares favorably to other types of PA materials.
